Each year, FLIPs selects 8-10 high school students for its “In the Light” theater daycamp program. Positions will run through the month of July and focus on our camp programming.

This free internship program is designed to allow high school students 15 years old and up the opportunity to gain experience under the tutelage of trained theatre artists to work with young children and share their love of theatre by helping them to create their own show.

Members of FLIPs: Outside the Box serve as mentors to each intern, providing training and background as needed.

Participants will act as daycamp counselors and guide young actors to help them learn about theatre while having fun.

They will also be gaining valuable skills which will enhance their future involvement in school and community productions as well as preparing them to begin the process of becoming professional theatre technicians.

FLIPs will accept applications for HIGH SCHOOL INTERNS throughout the spring. However, preference will be given to those applications received prior to May 31.
